EU Protected Name



Three European Union schemes, operating alongside individual national schemes, known as protected designation of origin (PDO), protected geographical indication (PGI), and traditional specialities guaranteed (TSG), protect names of quality agricultural products and foodstuffs. EU Regulation No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament.
