Beet Relish

Preserves

Diced beetroot, shredded white cabbage and grated horseradish stewed together with vinegar and hot spices. Preserved in jars.

Although given by the British Food Trust and other websites as a British or English speciality, this appears to be the German Baltischer Rüben-Geschmack (Baltic Beet Relish). It is not (2013) known commercially in England.
