Chibol

Fruit and Vegetables

(or Cibol, Chibolles, chibols, chybolys)

The full-grown Allium fistulosum, or Spring Onion, also known as Stone Leek or Rock Onion. Rarely used now, it is known at least as far back as William Langland's Piers Plowman of around 1362.
